This post is for whoever left a comment from Coffee Time Romance
and Much More. Normally I would not publicly post a message such as this however
you failed to leave your email address for me to email you back.
Your picture came up during a google search along with millions of other pictures. It wasn't until you or someone from your group started leaving rude comments on my facebook page I had any idea your group even existed let alone the picture was yours or part of your group. This matter would have been resolved months ago had you simply contacted me when you first noticed it and kindly explained your little picture was copyrighted it and belonged to your group and asked me to remove it.
I emailed you and your group page both this week via facebook after your rude comments were left on my facebook fan page. In your comment you left last night you asked I email you in the future if I had any questions, yet you failed to leave your email address or any other form of contact information. I went to your site which also appears to no form of contact information either.
I would like to make a few suggestions.
1. Add a contact section to your web site. If you have one make it more visible because as it stands you either don't have one or people can't find the one you have on your site.
2. If your picture is in fact a registered trademark I would suggest adding the symbol to your logo. Since your picture literally pops up with million other pictures on the web, this may prevent people from further using it.
3. In the future if someone does use your picture without your permission. Instead of jumping on the ban wagon leaving rude comments on the persons facebook page, you might want to consider simply attempting to contact the person and nicely explain to them your little group is registered and the logo belongs to you and you would appreciate them not using it. The person may very much be like me and found the picture in a google search and have no idea you would get upset over them using it, and they may also be like me and not even know about your little group!
4. When you leave comments on someone's blog or site and state "If you have any further questions please email." Leave your email address!!
In hind sight, I will be the first to admit, yes I could have done my homework a little better. All I did was simply use a picture I literally found during a google image search that popped up with millions of other pictures. Was I attempted to infringe at anytime on your group, NO I wasn't. Was I at anytime trying to imply directly or other wise I was affiliated with your group, NO I wasn't. Could this matter been cleared up months ago, most definitely. All would have taken was a short simple polite email from you. Instead it took you months to notify me and when you did you left rude comments about it. Upset as you may be over what happen, the truth is you had a better way to handle than what you did, especially considering you are a representative of a registered group. In the future, you might want to consider a better way of handling yourself and situations such as this. The next person you in counter may not be as kind or as obliging as I have been.
